It has always been a dream of mine to have a dedicated art studio space outside of home, and it finally came true! A couple of months ago, I sent out a random email to a friend whose studio space I visited years ago to see if there had been a waitlist, for one day when I am ready for such a step. But life had another plan for me, it told me: you are ready, NOW.

In December, Warrior Painters started a new challenge for the duration of December. Every day you painted on a 4x4 wooden coaster. In the spirit of the holidays, at the end of the month, you get to trade with other artists.

I experimented with lino for the first time in years. The kit had been gathering dust on my shelf with various other art supplies I have hoarded over the years. Hand making gifts for loved ones always brings me so much joy this time of the year.
